Teacakes                                             Hey Guys! Shout out to BFF-Leela's baking recipe's! Today I will be sharing with you a recipe I have been doing since I began baking. Its nice and simple! It is one of my most popular bakes! Lovely with jam or butter, toasted till crispy! Bake time:20mins___Serves:6___Prep Time:1Hour Ingredients -Very Strong White Bread Flour -1tsp Golden Sugar -1tsp Salt -100g Butter -150ml Warmed Milk -150ml Warmed Water -1 Easy Bake Yeast Sachet (7g) -100g sultanas -75g mixed peel -1 free range egg 1) Put all the ingredients except the egg into a mixing bowl. 2) Mix it into a nice soft dough. Knead for 5mins. 3) Use a knife (be careful) to chop the dough into 6 pieces. Place onto greased baking tray. 4) Preheat the oven to 190℃. And leave the dough to prove with a tea towel on top. 5) Bake for 20mins or more. 6) Eat and enjoy! Tell me how you get on 😀

Rock Cakes Crunchy Rock Cakes... simple to bake (and even easier to eat!) Serves:12___ Bake time: 30mins___Prep time:10mins                Ingredients: -225g Plain White Flour -1Pinch Salt -2tsp Baking Powder -75g Unsalted Butter -75g Golden Caster Sugar -75g Currants (optional) -0.25tsp Grated Nutmeg -0.25 grounded mix spice -1 Free Range Egg (beaten) -2.5 tbsp whole milk Method 1) Preheat the oven to 190℃, gas mask 5. Grease one or two baking trays. 2) Sift, all the  flour, salt and baking powder into a medium size mixing bowl.You can now rub the butter together until it looks and feels like bread crumbs. 3) Add in, all the sugar,fruit and spices. Also add the beaten egg and milk. Make sure it is nice and stiff. 4) Make golf ball sized balls with the mixture then place them on the greased baking trays. 5) Finally, cook them in the oven for 15 mins or until golden brown. Cool them on a cooling rack. 6) Eat! And Enjoy! Let me know how you get on 😀
